It’s Gonna Rain, I Can Feel It In My Bones

Standard

Taxidermy. I never would have guessed an event would choose taxidermy as a theme. But this month’s Flux is all about taxidermy. So we get dead animals, lots of bones, fur and feathers.

At Flux you’ll find skin, eyes, clothing, tattoos, furniture, accessories, jewelry, decor…they have a really good mix of items this round. Even some stuff for the guys.

Here I’ve got the Bejeweled Sklelebrella from Weather! or Not? It’s made up of arms and splayed hands with a ruby in each palm. At the top are two skulls with ruby eyes and the handle is a leg with a foot at the end. There are two versions in the pack, one with a holding pose and another without. I can’t say it’s all that effective in protecting me from the rain. On the other hand, bones don’t really get soaked (we say soaked to the bone not through the bone), so it isn’t like I really need a functional umbrella.

The rain frame behind me is animated, and the rain falling from the sky is particle. This skin from Nuuna’s is one of my favorites and the eyes are included in the pack along with three other black and white skins. The horns from Rue are in one of her retired textures, but there are dozens of other neat textures to choose from still for sale.
